Empowering Youth with Mental Health Education:
School Programs

At our organization, we are committed to creating a supportive and informed community by addressing mental health and addiction issues from a young age. Our School Programs are designed to educate and empower students, teachers, and parents with the knowledge and resources they need to foster a compassionate and stigma-free environment.

School Programs Overview

Our School Programs encompass a variety of initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and understanding within the school community:

Educational Workshops: We offer interactive workshops tailored to different age groups, covering topics such as mental health awareness, stress management, Gender Based Violence and recognizing the signs of addiction. These workshops are designed to engage students in meaningful conversations and provide them with practical tools to support their mental well-being.

Teacher and Staff Training: In addition to student workshops, we provide specialized training sessions for teachers and school staff. These sessions focus on recognizing and responding to mental health issues, creating a supportive classroom environment, and accessing available resources for further assistance.

Parent Information Sessions: Understanding that parents play a crucial role in their children's mental health, we offer information sessions that equip parents/ guardians with the knowledge and resources to support their children. Topics include communication strategies, recognizing early warning signs, and accessing community support services.

Resources and Support

We provide a range of resources to support the school community, including:

- Informative brochures and handouts on various mental health and addiction topics.
- Access to local support groups and professional services.
